We stayed at: Wyndham Shawnee Village

This is a location I had always wanted to go to, but just never got around to it...man do I wish I had done it sooner! What makes this place special? Well, it is the home town of Moravian College, not to mention one of the hubs of steel production in world during the 20th century in the entire world. Find more information at: https://www.bethlehem-pa.gov/

The downtown of Bethlehem is filled with wonderful little shops with a variety of offerings from handmade candies, homemade bagels, imports from Ireland, small jewelry shops, a wide variety of small eateries across the cuisine choices, and even a flavored oil shop where you can taste the varieties offered.

There are a variety of museums around this area, which we hope to get back to see this spring. Find more information

Christmas time also sees Bethlehem offering a Christkindlmarket, which we were not able to visit on this trip. However, the downtown shopping area has small sheds sitting around that small businesses rent to sell their products. We had a lot of luck with a small bar-b-que sauce business named 1 Love Jerk Hut ( https://www.1lovejerkhut.com/), and a small hand made soap shed. A lot of great prices and unique gifts.

Johnny's Bagels where you can buy in shop made bagels...I got 8 day olds for $5

If you can't find something on the wall to eat, then there's something wrong with you

The center of the main business district area has a star of Bethlehem at the intersection

Robyn and I do some shopping and freezing our butts off in front of some original structures

The charm of the downtown has been conserved in its buildings and shops
